Full Time Position (1FTE)
(0.5FTE) Educator & (0.5FTE) Technician

We are seeking a Sterile Service Educator for Hawke’s Bay District Health Board who shares our values of He kauanuanu – Respect, Ākina – Improvement, Rāranga te tira – Teamwork and Tauwhiro – Care.

Due to the complexities and importance of a Sterile Services Technician role, we require a motivated, flexible and enthusiastic person to become the Educator for the Sterile Services Unit ensuring the unit provides an efficient sterilization service. The role involves the essential education for all staff working in the Sterile Services Unit while also providing education for all HBDHB staff that use sterile equipment within the organization.

Previous Technician experience is essential.
Flexible hours between 7.00am – 11.00pm, including weekends. Overtime may be required from time to time.
